Alex “High Five” Georgiou & Brittany “Britt” Fetzer have been training their asses off for Ironman Wisconsin on 9/9/2012!

Training for and completing an Ironman takes dedication beyond belief.  Alex and Britt have clearly shown their training dedication but have also shown that it is about more than just training for and competing in an Ironman.  One of the main motivators keeping them going day after day has been raising funds for a important cause.  They are raising funds for the men and women who fight tirelessly everyday so that we can enjoy all the freedoms that this great country has to offer.  They have set a goal of raising $10,000.00 for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.  We are proud to say that CrossFit 312 has been a strong foundation in their training program.   Most importantly, we want to support them in their training efforts and help them reach their goal!

More about the Special Operations Warrior Foundation:

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation mission is devoted to providing a college education to every child who has lost a parent while serving in Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps Special Operations during an operational or training mission. The also provide immediate financial assistance to special operations personnel severely wounded in the global war on terror.  Once notified of a special operations soldier, airman, sailor or Marine hospitalized with a severe injury, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation immediately sends funds to the service member (or his/her designated recipient) so the family and loved ones can immediately travel to be bedside. To date, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation has provided over $700,000 to wounded special operations personnel.

We ask you to show your support in honor of our fallen hero, Murph, all of our fallen soldiers and all the families these funds will impact. Any size donation is strongly encouraged to participate but not required (no donation is too small)!  CrossFit 312 will Match 10% of all donations made up to $1K total!!!  As a community, let’s help Alex and Britt reach their goal of $10,000.00!
